Google Chrome Updates, Adds Integrated Flash Player

Written by Mel Kham on . Posted in News

Windows/Mac/Linux: A new stable channel release of Google Chrome just came out and it brings integrated Flash to the browser—Chrome will now update and manage Flash for you.

The update addresses a handful of security fixes big and small, but the headlining update by far is the inclusion of an integrated Flash player in the stable release. From this version forward Chrome will handle Flash updates so you’ll never be prompted again to download Flash, update Flash, or interact with it in any way. Not only is that convenient, but it’s also a great way to automatically keep on top of security updates. Visit the link below for more information on the security updates.

I tried it and it works with a regular zip file, but if you password-protect the .zip file it does NOT work.
