Just this week, former pioneering cellular phone company Nokia, announced that it will be slashing 10,000 jobs from its plant in Finland. Or the plant itself could possibly close. In addition to the job losses, Nokia also announced they would be dropping their Linux Research and Development section, known as Project Meltemi.
