Tropico 5 Officially Lands In Linux

I know that many of you have waited for a long time for the Tropico 5 to land on Steam for linux. Finally it is there. According to the official announcement on steamcommunity.com the game is now available on Mac and SteamOS and the good thing is that you can also download the Mac/SteamOS edition for absolutely free via Steam cross-buy if you have previously bought it for Windows.

As promised the game was going to be available for linux on september 19 and here it is now available for all linux users to play and enjoy it.

What about the system specs needed to play Tropico 5 on linux? To be honest with you guys a very powerful machine is needed to play it because this game features a powerful engine.

Pretty much you need at least Ubuntu or SteamOS, a 2 GHz Dual Core CPU, 4 GB of RAM, GeForce 400 or higher, AMD Radeon HD 4000 or higher, Intel HD 4000 or higher, and 4 GB of available HDD space.
