First look at Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric LightDM login | Video

With the arrival of the new Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric among the many innovations that include the new Display Manager LightDM which will replace GDM . The reason of the entry of LightDM instead of GDM lies in the fact that offers an improvement in execution speed as that does not require the use of the entire session Gnome also supports multiple greeter and then we can use the same display manager also derived as Kubuntu , Xubuntu , and the new Lubuntu .

Here it is a video of the possible lightDM theme for ubuntu 11.10, the theme still in developement and is not available yet, it is expected to be available shortly in the repositories.
