How to install  Media  Codecs for  Fedora 14/15 ?

Answer:


 before  you begin, add  the  user to sudo file

$su -
$echo 'username ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD:ALL' >> /etc/sudoers

 back to the  noraml user  with 

#exit

1- First  Add the RPMFusion repository to Fedora  from rpmfusion.org website ansd  install  RPM Fusion packages.


su -c 'yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-rawhide.noarch.rpm
http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-rawhide.noarch.rpm'

2-Now update  your  system  with  repesitoy rpmfusion included
 

su -c 'yum update -y'

Step 3: Install the gstreamer  plugins

su -c 'yum -y install gstreamer-plugins-bad-free gstreamer-ffmpeg gstreamer-plugins-bad gstreamer-plugins-ugly'

Now  you will be able to play  music and videos of any file format (avi, wmv, mp4, flv, and mp3…) in Totem – the default media player shipped with Fedora.

You can actually unzip your secret archive by leaving out the -t option, instead using:

unzip newPhoto.jpg

i try the method, and i unzip the image contain zip secret, i dont find the file that i was hide, where it go? and how to open it? :s
