Wine 1.3.35 has been released! PPA Ubuntu
The Wine development release 1.3.35 is now available, this is a bi-weekly snapshot in the 1.3 unstable series.
What’s new in this release:
- Support for animated cursors.
- Printing directly through CUPS instead of lpr.
- Installer fixes for Office 2010.
- Many MSXML3 improvements.
- Improved Shader Model 4 support.
- Proper icons in built-in Internet Explorer.
- Translation updates.
- Various bug fixes.
Installation in Ubuntu & LinuxMint via PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine1.3

Wow, great. That’s what i’m waiting for too. I want to make DC with LDAP ( Active Directory alternative) and SAMBA on Ubuntu. :-)

Just delete the space after the slash (/) it will work.

I tried it and it works with a regular zip file, but if you password-protect the .zip file it does NOT work.
