Lutris- A Multi-platform game installer for Linux
Lutris is a gaming platform similar to DJL and PlayOnLinux aiming to support as many games as possible for the GNU/Linux operating system. It
takes care of running the game by setting up the best environement in order to provide the most enjoyable gaming experience.The program is currently usable but only has a fraction of the planned features.
Lutris supports native Linux games both commercial and Open Source and also can install windows games using wine, same as playonlinux does. Lutris also supports the best of breed emulators so you can play almost every game for the following platforms :
- Many arcade based games
- Amiga 500, 600, 1200
- Atari 2600, 800, 800XL, 130XE, 5200, ST, STE, TT, Lynx
- Bandai WonderSwan, WonderSwan Color
- Browser games like Quake Live, Minecraft or Flash based games
- Commmodore VIC-20, C64, C128, CBM-II, PLUS/4
- LucasArt SCUMM based games (Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion, …)
- Magnavox Odyssey², Videopac+
- Mattel Intellivision
- Microsoft MSX, MS-DOS

Installation :
Lutris is still in a very early stage of development, so it’s not yet available for every Linux distribution.
-For Ubuntu, LinuxMint and Debian Squeeze:
{xtypo_download}Download and install the .deb package :Download Lutris 0.2.4{/xtypo_download}
- For other linux distributions, you can install it via bzr.
- For Fedora /Centos and other rpm based distros:
As root type the following command:
1- Install some dependencies:
yum install python-apport python-pyglet python-gobject python-gtk2 python-yaml python-gconf joy2key
2- Get lutris from bazar:
bzr branch lp:lutris
3- To run the program cd lutris directory and
cd lutris
And run it using:
./bin/lutris

I tried it and it works with a regular zip file, but if you password-protect the .zip file it does NOT work.

After install as above, run shell script /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/wfica.sh manually and note lib errors still occur. I had the x64 motif loaded but had to manually install the x86 too. Got that from http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=libXm.so.4 Even after that, I still had to do a “yum install alsa-lib.i686 alsa-lib.x86_64″ to resolve any additional libasound.so.2 errors. Once those two lib issues were resolved, Citix Web Interface launched apps fine by telling browser to open launch.ica using /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/wfica.sh. Good luck Ernesto!
