Open the terminal and run sudo apt update to ensure you have the latest package information before installing new software.
Enter sudo apt install gscan2pdf in the terminal. This installs gscan2pdf along with necessary dependencies.
Once installed, check it by typing gscan2pdf in the terminal, or find it in the applications menu to ensure it's installed correctly.
Launch gscan2pdf from your application menu. It provides an intuitive GUI for scanning documents, editing, and saving them as PDF or image files.
In gscan2pdf, configure your scanner by selecting “Scan” and choosing the device. Set desired resolution and scan mode (color, grayscale, etc.).
After scanning, edit or clean up the files if needed, then save or export them as PDF or various image formats available in gscan2pdf.
