Yoper Linux 2010 RC1 is available !

The first Release Candidate RC1 of Yoper Linux 2010 – Codename” Dresden” an i686 Linux distribution optimized for simple desktop use. This is one step closer to a simple, yet powerful Linux desktop for the enthusiastic Linux user, that just works, but still leaves you in control.


The version is released with 2.6.31 kernel with the zen-kernel patchset and with Xserver 1.7.4

This release can be downloaded in 2 types isos

1) The slim ISO which contains a most basic system for absolute
personal control and customization.
2) The KDE4 ISO which includes the just released KDE 4.4.0 and a range
of other cutting-edge desktop packages.

The simple, but refined installer will allow you to install a full
KDE4 desktop environment in less than 10 minutes.
A slim installation can be done in less than 2 minutes. Perfect for
those who love to have full control over their system.
