VLC 1.1.4 is released! PPA Ubuntu
VLC 1.1.4 is released, this is the fourth bugfix release of the VLC 1.1.x branch. This release comes especially to fix important security issue that was discovered in most windows application, Linux in general is not affected by this
security bug. So this new release is targeted for the windows platform.
What`s new in VLC 1.1.4?
- Avformat fps displaying fix-TS,
- Fix an issue where some programs would get dropped (fixes DVB issues too)
- -Audio filters: · fix timestamps handling on some filters that provoked issues when playback of mono streams, especially on Windows
- -Interface and extensions: · Youtube and other scripts updates
Installation :
For Ubuntu 10.04 lucid and ubuntu 10.10 maverick:
Open terminal and type the commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/vlc
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install vlc vlc-plugin-pulse mozilla-plugin-vlc
Fedora 11 (Leonidas), Fedora 12 (Constantine) and Fedora 13 (Goddard)
Use RPM Fusion for F11, F12 and F13
Install rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm for F11, F12 and F13.
$> su -
#> rpm -ivh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm
#> yum install vlc
#> yum install mozilla-vlc

You can actually unzip your secret archive by leaving out the -t option, instead using:
unzip newPhoto.jpg

i try the method, and i unzip the image contain zip secret, i dont find the file that i was hide, where it go? and how to open it? :s
