Things to do after installing Fedora14

Written by Mel Kham on . Posted in Fedora

1- Enable RPM Fusion on your Fedora 14.

You need to Install Free and Non Free RPM Fusion repositories, to do that open terminal and copy the commands bellow:

su -c 'yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm'

You can also enable the Free and non free repositories by installing the following rpm`s:

  • Installing via graphical mode:

First enable access to the free repository, to do that install first this package:

RPM Fusion free for Fedora 12, 13 and 14

Once that succeeds, you can enable access to the nonfree repositories by installing the non free package:

RPM Fusion nonfree for Fedora 12, 13 and 14

2- Install Bisigi themes:

I tried it and it works with a regular zip file, but if you password-protect the .zip file it does NOT work.
