Pino 0.2.1 is released ! The new  version comes with new features and fix many bugs. if you diden`t hear before about Pino,  it’s a simple and fast Twitter and Identi.ca client for Linux desktop.

Please, help the developer to fix this bug.

• Experimental support for status.net sites and API proxies (now you can use any identica-like service, secure connections for twitter and twitter proxies, like birdnest and twit)

• Viewing user information

• Follow/unfollow

• Improvements in the conversation dialog

• Few bugs fixed

Installation :

For ubuntu :

First add repositories :

open the terminal and type :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:vala-team/ppa

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:troorl/pino

Now refresh and install Pino :

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install pino

- For other Linux distros :

Download the packages from this link (RPM, Deb,tar…)
