present their own mouse- OOMouse

Is not a Joke, OpenofficeMouse is available, OOMouse is the first multi-button application mouse designed for a wide variety of software applications. With a revolutionary and patented design featuring 18 buttons, an analog joystick, and support for as many as 52 key commands. the OOMouse is intended to provide a faster and more efficient user interface for most complex software applications than the conventional icons, pull-down menus, and hotkeys presently permit.

The OOMouse is one of the first computer mice to incorporate an analog joystick and the first to permit the use of the joystick as a keyboard. Love Openoffice, but this thing is just horrible. A (lack of) design that could only be out done by pc manufactures from the early 80s.

Money would be better spent on advertising. Please don’t stick that thing in the ad.

FWIW – While this mouse is named for and supports OO power users it really is more of a gaming mouse. If you look at the associated website there are already a dozen or so game titles supported. I even read the other day of someone talking about supporting vi functions.
