The time has came for the first beta release of the 2010.1 version of Mandriva Linux. It’s now available as 32-bit and 64-bit DVD images, as well as live CD images with GNOME or KDE. This release includes GNOME 2.30 and a preview edition of GNOME-Shell, which will be part of GNOME 3 (which is planned for release in September 2010). Of course, KDE 4.4.2 is also available, as well as various updates for many programs in the distribution.
