Primal Carnage is a multi-player first person shooter that’s in development by the Indie game studio known as Lukewarm Media. Unfortunately there is no expected release date for this title , but for the Game Developers’ Conference (GDC) taking place this week, the game development company has released their first video that shows off the Unigine-powered game. While the video is not too action packed, it does show off the impressive graphics to be found in this game with dinosaurs.
Primal Carnage is using the Unigine engine. The Unigine engine is the most advanced game engine that we have seen available for Linux that offers incredible OpenGL graphics now with their Unigine Sanctuary and Tropics tests and also coming soon with Heaven and its OpenGL 3.2 renderer. The Unigine engine developers are also Linux friendly.
