KDE 4.3.4 is out !!

Announced today the release of KDE 4.3.4, the new release is a bugfix and translation update. KDE SC 4.3.4 is a recommended upgrade for everyone running KDE 4.3.3 or earlier version. The new version is considered as more completely translated.

KDE SC 4.3.4 has a number of improvements:

  • A bugfix in Plasma’s pixmap cache makes the workspace more responsive
  • Okular, the document viewer improved stability in certain situations
  • Marble, the desktop globe has seen some polish
  • Passphrases with non-ASCII characters have been fixed in the KGpg encryption tool

 

The changelog has more, if not exhaustive, lists of the improvements since KDE SC 4.3.3.

Actually, what I see too much of, and what Microsoft actually (sorta) did with Windows 8 is think forward. And let’s be brutally honest. Windows 8 is actually NOT as bad as people is making it out, they’re just freakishly afraid of change (which Linux users are as well, it seems)
