Dear unixmen reader,

In this tutorial I will teach you how to install Rapid Photo Downloader in Ubuntu Linux. It is a nice program  written by a photographer for professional and amateur photographers.  The Rapid Photo Downloader is free software  released under the GNU GPL license.  It comes in  thirty languages  and its goal is to be the best photo downloader for the Linux desktop. Ok, guy, now it is time to install it in our machine.

1.   Set up the personal package archive for the Rapid Photo Downloader.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dlynch3/ppa 

2. Run apt-get update.

sudo apt-get update

3. Now install the Rapid Photo Downloader with the following command.

sudo apt-get install rapid-photo-downloader
