Hi unixmen readers,

Sometime we need to play a piece of music at a different speed so in this tutorial I will teach you how to install Play it Slowly in Ubuntu, a piece of software that can help you to learn or transcribe songs. If you like you can also use this nice little software to play videos, this is possible thanks to GStreamer.

1. Open a new terminal (CTRL+ALT+T )

2. Run the following command to install Play it Slowly in your machine.

sudo apt-get install playitslowly

3.  After the installation is finished you can launch the software with the following command.
