How  to install  Nvidia graphic  card  drivers  in Fedora 14

Answer:

first  update  under  root    your  System kernels

 

#yum update kernel*

reboot the system
#reboot


add RPMfusion repository to your Fedora system

rpm -Uvh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm

Install nVidia proprietary drivers for GeForce 6/7/8/9/200/300 series cards

yum install kmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs

if you are using PAE kernel intstall it with

yum install kmod-nvidia-PAE

Install Nvidia drivers for GeForce FX cards

yum --enablerepo=rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-testing install kmod-nvidia-173xx xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-173xx-libs.i686
