install nginx in Ubuntu 10.x

The Nginx Web Server is a light weight and versatile server that can be configured for all the different tasks that many modern websites demand.
Nginx is a free, open-source, high-performance HTTP server and reverse proxy, as well as an IMAP/POP3 proxy server. Igor Sysoev started development of Nginx in 2002, with the first public release in 2004. Nginx now hosts nearly 6.55% (13.5M) of all domains worldwide. Nginx is known for its high performance, stability, rich feature set, simple configuration, and low resource consumption.

How  to install  nginx in Ubuntu 10.10

addthis  to  souces.list

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/nginx/stable/ubuntu maverick main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/nginx/stable/ubuntu maverick main

Now   apt-get update

and  apt-get install  nginx

Just delete the space after the slash (/) it will work.

I tried it and it works with a regular zip file, but if you password-protect the .zip file it does NOT work.
