Google Indicator 0.2.0 Has Been Released, Important Bugfixes

Google indicator 0.2.0 has finally been released, it comes with some important fixes and many updates. The “calendar events not showing up in the indicator menu under Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander” bug has now been fixed and calendar indicator now allows selecting which calendars to show.

Calendar Indicator 0.2.0 includes the following fixes:

– fixed calendar events not showing up in the indicator menu under Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy
– fixed bug that prevented events that occur today from being displayed
– Calendar Indicator now allows selecting which calendars to show – before this release, you could select none or all calendars only
– fixed calendar size
– fixed autostart issue

How to install Google Indicator 0.2.0 In your Ubuntu machine?

If you are running Ubuntu 13.10, the Google Indicator 0.2.0 can be found in the repositories and all you have to do is type the ‘sudo apt-get install calendar-indicator’ command in order to install the indicator, but an older version is available Ubuntu 13.04, 12.10 and 12.04 repos.

Type the following commands to install Google Calendar Indicator for Ubuntu 13.04, 12.10 and 12.04:

sudo apt-get update
