Cinnamon 1.3 released!

Cinnamon 1.3 released, according to Clem announcement, this is a major update of Cinnamon that comes with many new features, improvements and bug fixes. Cinnamon 1.3 comes with improved applets, now it is possible to remove the default menu and replace it with 3rd party applets, applets can now be dragged and dropped with the mouse and placed wherever you want within the panel. Cinnamon Settings gained a lot of new features and a lot of new tabs, the menu received many improvements.

What`s new in Cinnamon 1.3?

  • Applets improvements: Ability to remove the default menu or window list and replace them with 3rd party applets. also added a new important feature, is that  applets can now be dragged and dropped with the mouse and placed wherever you want within the panel(s)
  • Cinnamon Settings: A lot of new features and tabs arrived,now you can also use the settings to configure your fonts, windows, desktop icons, window, cursor, gtk+ themes..etc.

  • Menu improvements:  The menu received the following improvements:  New hover delay preference, better icon sizes (crispier icons), fixed menu size when the number of favorites is high, more exhaustive search results.

    You might mention what your announcements are about.   ie. new version of cinnamon, THE X, Y, Z, thing that does U, V, W. is available … I only know abouit what a real minority of your announcements are about, until I read to the very end.  Also the response time for adding comments is *glacial*.  SPEED IT UP!

Do you think that it works on a Macbook Air 1,1?… ohh and, it must be installed in a different partition than Mac OS X, right?… can´t have i installed only Ubuntu on my hard drive?
