Q: How to Add routing to Hp-UX ?

A: Login de machine under root :

Cd  /etc/rc.config.d

view or vi netconf file

then add

ROUTE_DESTINATION[6]=”net 193.12.24.0″

ROUTE_MASK[6]=”255.255.255.0″

ROUTE_GATEWAY[6]=”10.0.10.254″

ROUTE_COUNT[6]=”"

ROUTE_ARGS[6]=

Exit : wq!

If you want add it juts 1 time and not permanent do :

route add –net 192.68.252.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 10.0.101.254 1*

*1 = if you do the commando from other network

I tried it and it works with a regular zip file, but if you password-protect the .zip file it does NOT work.
